If Hi lovers,
I'm in the midst of writing a new book and have jumped genre to the paranormal, which, I have to say, is more the kind of thing I like to read.
My new book is based in Scotland, in the small town I come from. Scotland as a whole has a rich history of myths, legends and ghosts and my home town is situated on one of the most haunted roads in the UK!
The working title of the book is The Water Witch, I'm not sure if it will stay as this, but it centers round a character called Tarn, who is a water witch, and the other main witches in her coven. They come into contact with a mysterious female, who starts attacking the men in the town, and our witches are going to kick her ass!
It's been fun fleshing out characters, writing about places I know (even if the homes of our witches are fictional). Delving into witchcraft, crystals, spells and rituals has been fun and I have my own crystal collection out to soak up those full moon vibes tonight.
While witchcraft is not practiced in my home town (that I know of...) there are plenty of stories about creatures and ghosts that do the rounds to scare small children, and the occasional adult!
I will be sharing more about the characters soon so if you like all things witchy or super natural, keep an eye on my blog. If you are interested in checking out some of my inspiration and getting a look at some of the other characters, have a peek at my pinterest board for them here.
